Heather Gardens represents both a continuation and a transformation.
Formerly known as Scandinavian Communities, our campus has long been part of the Cranston (Edgewood) community. Today, under new ownership by PACE, we are building on that history with a renewed vision—one focused on longevity, compassion, and a higher standard of care.
Our goal is simple: to create a place where seniors can live with dignity, independence, and a strong sense of belonging. We are a not-for-profit that takes a whole person care approach to wellness, attending to the needs of every aspect of residents’ lives and providing contact with additional resources when needed.

With only 35 spacious apartments, Heather Gardens offers a warm, close-knit environment where residents receive personalized support while maintaining their independence, privacy and connection to others.
